A visit to Ozark Hills isn’t complete without a stroll through Whisky Jack’s Moonshine Still Museum!

We’re wine lovers around here, but our passion for preserving the history and heritage of the Ozarks led us to gather an unmatched collection of prohibition-era moonshine stills, bootlegging relics, and family heirlooms from decades in the wine industry. Come hear their stories from our friendly tour guides, and learn more about the legacy of wine and liquor in the Midwest.

When are tours available?
When you arrive at the winery just let us know you’re interested in a tour, and we will add you to the next group. Tours begin every 15 minutes during our regular business hours.

What does the tour cost?
We offer these tours free of charge. Please see our Taste the Ozark Hills page for more information on the wine tasting we offer at the end of each tour.

Who can go on the tour?
Bring the whole crew! It’s the perfect activity for wine aficionados, casual sippers, history buffs, and anyone interested in learning more about the rich heritage of the Ozarks during prohibition and beyond. Make sure to call ahead for groups larger than 12.

How long does the tour take?
The tour takes 15-20 minutes. Guests are also welcome to join us for a wine tasting at the end of each tour, which makes the experience about 45 minutes altogether.

What does the tour consist of?
Our tour is a personalized experience that will be unique to new and returning guests alike, and keep you coming back time and time again! Each tour guide relays the facts with its own style, focus, and narrative as they walk you through the dynamic timeline of moonshining and winemaking in the Ozarks. You’ll also have the chance to see our bottling process and learn how your new favorite wines get from the grapevine to your glass. When our guides share their passion for what we do here at Ozark Hills Winery, you can’t help but feel like part of the family!
